Our gelatos are made by hand, in-house, the Italian way. With no artificial colouring, no vegetable fats, and no artificial sweeteners, all Kaspa’s gelato is produced in our very own factory in the UK using only the finest ingredients.
Fresh, locally sourced pasteurised milk and cream give our gelatos their unique creamy texture. Then, we source ingredients from regions that produce the best of its kind. Hazelnuts, pistachios and lemon puree from Italy, certified alphonso mangoes from India, passionfruit from Ecuador, fresh bananas from Costa Rica and rich, aromatic cocoa from West Africa. We take inspiration from these beautiful ingredients and turn them into our indulgent Kaspa’s gelatos.
Finishing touches, like rippling our own wild strawberries and hand-crushing our biscuits, mean the time and care taken in making our gelato can be tasted with every bite.
Our gelatos contain no animal derivatives, making them suitable for vegetarians. If you’re vegan, don’t worry we haven’t forgotten about you! Our selection of mouth-watering sorbets is the perfect sweet treat for vegans to enjoy at Kaspa’s.
We produce anywhere from 750 to 800 Napoli’s a day, that’s around 3,500 litres of gelato. It can take up to four months to develop one flavour of gelato which includes taste testing, checking textures, and most importantly getting customer feedback. Our flavours are complex in nature and every gelato is assembled in layers by hand, so you can enjoy the same deliciousness in every bite.
